Installing and Uninstalling

Current Version: 3.0.241 (July 6th, 2016)
– Added Heroes expansion!

To install: Go to the Google Play store through this link and send a download to your phone, or go to the Google Play app on your phone and search for “Star Realms”.

To uninstall: Go to your device’s list of apps (not on the home screen) and tap and hold on the Star Realms icon. Each Android device varies, but generally an “uninstall” icon will appear — drag the Star Realms icon to that. Please note that uninstalling will remove all campaign progress.

System Requirements: Android 4.0+.


New Purchases

To purchase the Core Game and online registration, start the app, tap Play Online and then Get An Account. Tap the button on the bottom of the screen to purchase through Google. (If you have a registration code sent to you by support, tap the “Registration Code” text to enter the code.)

To purchase the Gambit Expansion, start the app, tap Campaigns and then tap Campaign Three. This will take you to a screen to buy Gambit. Then, tap the button on the bottom of that screen to purchase through Google. (If you have a Gambit registration code sent to you by support, tap the “Registration Code” text to enter the code.)

To purchase the Crisis Expansion, start the app, tap Campaigns and then tap Campaign Five. This will take you to a screen to buy Crisis. Then, tap the button on the bottom of that screen to purchase through Google. (If you have a Crisis registration code sent to you by support, tap the “Registration Code” text to enter the code.)


Restoring Prior Purchases

After a reinstall you will need to reconnect your app with our server. You do this by Restoring Purchases. After launching the game:

  • click Play Online
  • enter your username and password
  • click Log In
  • click your username in the lower-left corner
  • click the Restore Purchases button, and confirm, to regain access to your purchases.

Current Known Issues

– some users get an “invalid character” error after purchasing Heroes, but it doesn’t affect anything.
