Star Realms is now confirmed to be working on Samsung Galaxy S3 devices! Download the update and play on!
Star Realms has finally made its way to the Google Play marketplace, letting Android users experience the fun and excitement of blasting each other to death in space! We’ve packed a ton of cool features into the app, and we hope you all enjoy them as much as we do!
As you’ll see, the full Star Realms experience has been faithfully recreated for the app. The entire base game is available to play, either against our three levels of challenging A.I., Pass & Play mode, Campaign mode, or online with friends (and foes!).
The campaign mode is a blast, featuring 15 missions and two different difficulty levels. Each mission provides an interesting twist on your standard Star Realms gameplay, and our blisteringly hard A.I. means you’ll be facing a real challenge! Oh, and did we mention both of our solitaire bosses are the bosses of each campaign chapter? Prepare to get your butt handed to you by both Nemesis Beast and The Pirates of The Dark Star.
Of course, the real reason to invest in the full version of the game (just $4.99!) is the full online play. If you’ve been looking for your Star Realms fix, imagine being able to run 10-20 games at the same time! The asynchronous play makes it easy to blast out your turn in a minute or so, then check back later to take your next turn (assuming you’re still alive!). There’s also a ranking system to help pair you with players of your own skill level, and plenty of profile avatars to unlock, with more on the way!
• The full Star Realms experience, now in digital form
• 15 Mission Single-Player Campaign
• Online Play with Global Rankings
• Three levels of A.I. difficulty
• Pass & Play mode
• Single purchase unlocks the game on future platforms (iOS, PC, Mac)
All For Just $4.99! (Click here to download on Google Play)
And just in case you’re not sure about whether you’re ready to invest in the full version, the free version of the app offers plenty of fun, letting you battle vs. the computer and try out the single-player campaign. Don’t hesitate to download and give Star Realms a try!
(As a note, if you were a Kickstarter backer, you already have access to the full game. Just login using the email you used to sign up for the beta, navigate to your profile and select “restore purchases.”)
I’m looking forward to playing you all, and I’ll be back with updates on our upcoming release on iOS. Hope you enjoy dominating the (digital) Star Realms!

IMPORTANT: Some people are reporting troubles running Star Realms on the Samsung Galaxy S3, the Droid RAZR M and the Droid RAZR HD. We will be looking into a fix, but for now we recommend you hold off on purchasing if you own one of these devices.

Yeah, it also doesn’t work on the Galaxy S4. Game loads, but cards are not visible in play area. Also, changing the graphics settings jacks everything up until closing and re-entering the game – but still no cards visible. Wish I’d known before I bought.
It works perfectly on my S4
It’s working perfectly on my S4. Also works great on my wife’s, neither of us have had any issues with it.
They’ve released an update that has fixed these issues.
There seems to be a Problem Witz destroy target base abilities – it shows the popup, but doesn’t destroy if you don’t habe enough power to destroy – and if you have the power, it does use that instead of its ability.
Any chance it’ll hit the Amazon appstore?
Here’s how I got the full version on my Kindle – note this is marginally technical. You need another android device where you have purchased the full version. On the other android device, search for ‘App Backup & Restore’ by Infolife on the Google Play Store. That will let you export the Star Realms .apk file. Share the .apk file with you Kindle and install it. You will need to allow third party apps in the Kindle settings to do this. Now install and run Star Realms on your Kindle. Use ‘Restore Purchases’ option in the app after you’ve signed in, to authenticate Star Realms to the full version on your Kindle. See my post to Zack below for how to do that. If all these steps are too involved, you can always wait for the official release on the Amazon App Store. This process should be OK with the developers, since as I’ve read on the blog a single purchase is intended to unlock the game on other platforms – Please correct me if this is not intended, as I do want to support this great game!
That sounds like a good plan; thanks for writing that out. Now I just need to find an android device I can install the app on. My phone is too old apparently.
There is a PC program called Bluestacks that is an Android emulator, this may allow you to do it without having to track down a phone or other device.
Wish I could do that, but my phone is too old to let me get it from Play. +1 vote for getting it on Amazon’s store 🙂
I am loving this app, and chomping for the second printing so I can purchase some physical sets for me and my family.
I do have some feature requests:
1. Amazon App Store – My sons have a Kindle Fire and would love to play. However, the stock Kindle is locked to the Amazon Appstore.
2. When reviewing the Log, can we launch the card view by long pressing the card name from the Log? Right now, if I missed my opponents last play, then I’ve got to review the log, then open the opponents graveyard and hunt down the correct card to long press.
3. Can we initiate a replay of the last turn at will? I’m thinking if we tap or long tap the opponent’s avatar, this can start the replay. Right now, I have to exit the game and re-open it to initiate the replay.
4. Can we export or upload the game log? There are games that I would like to review to try to improve my skill.
Consider my vote as well for all of Allen’s excellent suggestions. Allen – Please see my post above for the full version in the Amazon App Store, a solution until official release makes it easier.
Any news when this hits ios ? Im getting antsy
Star Realms was apparently first submitted on monday two weeks ago. Apple rejected the app and required a few small changes, and Wise Wizard resubmitted a tweaked build a few days ago.
Allens mechanics suggestions (point 2,3 and 4) are all things I’d like to see as well.
And this: co-op play against the Nemesis Beast and the Pirates of the Dark Star, just like the co-op challenges in the physical version.
I purchased the full app through my Galaxy S10 and its working well. Installed on my S5, and while its working well, even when I sign in to online as instructed, it doesn’t recognize that I’ve purchased the full version on that device.
Anyone experienced this?
Hi Zack. In the app, go into ‘Play Online’, and then click your username in the lower left once you’re in the Online Lobby. If you don’t see your username you need to sign in. Once you click your username, you’ll be on the ‘Your Profile’ page. From there, click ‘Restore Purchases’ and that should authenticate the full version on your other device.
Perfect. Thank you much.
I’ll second (or third or fourth) the request for the app to be placed in the Amazon app store. I have a bunch of friends with Kindles who are locked out of the Play store, and are too lazy to try a work around ☺
Some of us aren’t lazy; our Google devices are simply listed as “incompatible” and therefore the workaround is not feasible.
You got a nice video review on TotalBiscuit’s channel on you tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMESJvYT39I
Any plans to bring this to Windows Phone?
I bought it on the android market, but on pc and ios, campaign and harder ai levels are still locked. What’s up with that???
Check out my post above to Zack on July 23rd for the answer to your question.
I just came here to make fun of Mission 3’s mother.
Will there be expansion cards available for the game in the future?
The 4.99 does that include the expansions for the game??
Game is very impressive. Smart, fast and good art. I want full version. But the textures in menu and some time in game are dancing. Too many bugs. I have Huawei Mediapad 10 FHD. Do something please.
