Star Realms is a near perfect example of what’s right, not just in science fiction gaming or deckbuilding, but in how to successfully conceptualize, launch, fund, and distribute a worthy product to the masses. 9/10.
FINALLY, someone is making a deckbuilding game where the goal is just to kill your frickin’ opponent! I loved how smooth and quick the game was. The best part is that the game is going to retail for $14.95 MSRP, which is insane. It finally felt like two of my favorite games (Dominion and Magic) were put together in the right way.
I can honestly see this as replacing Dominion as my go-to deck building game.
